- What's the actual all-in cost for 5 users on an annual plan, including SMS credits and add-ons?
- Who owns my data and how do I export it if I leave?
- What's the average support response time? Can I talk to a real customer?
- What's on the roadmap for the next 6 months?
- Which features are gated behind the top tier vs included?
- How does onboarding work — self-serve or assisted? What does assisted cost?
- Show me reporting: revenue by tech, by service, by job type, profit margin.
- What happens to my account if your company gets acquired?
3 red flags to watch for
- Won't show real pricing. If they dodge the all-in cost question, expect surprises in the contract.
- Demo runs on perfect mock data. Ask them to import 50 of your real contacts and quote a real job.
- Pressure to sign today. "This pricing is only good until end of call" almost always reappears next week.
