How this affects our content
It doesn't affect our rankings. Our editorial team scores products based on pricing, features, ease of use, customer support, and real-world feedback from service business owners. Companies cannot pay to appear higher in our rankings or to receive a better review score.
Sponsored placements — when they exist — are always clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement."
Why we disclose this
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires sites that earn commissions to disclose those relationships clearly. We agree with the spirit of that rule and disclose on every page that includes affiliate links.
